How we manage our With Profits fund

We manage several With Profits funds. Please read through the following information to identify which guide is relevant to you.

If in doubt, please refer to your policy documentation, or you can contact us on 0845 640 5261 (for textphone please dial 18001 first).

Liverpool Victoria Friendly Society With Profits Fund

There are four guides available for this With Profits fund. The relevant version depends on what With Profits product you have, or are considering investing in.

Most policies taken out with Liverpool Victoria Friendly Society before 1997 will be Conventional With Profits policies and the document below should be the relevant guide for you. If you have, or are considering a With Profits Pension Annuity you will also require this version.

If you have a Flexible Whole Life Plan or Appropriate Personal Pension Plan, you will require the Accumulating With Profits version of the guide below.

Policies taken out from January 1997 onwards are mainly Unitised With Profits policies. The exceptions are a limited number of Conventional With Profits policies sold during 1997 and 1998 - these will state the words "Industrial Branch" on the policy document and will require the Conventional With Profits Version of the guide.

If you are thinking about taking out a With Profits policy, you will require the following Unitised version, unless you are considering the With Profits Pension Annuity (Conventional With Profits version of guide as above) or the All-In-1 Investment Bond (All-In-1 Investment Bond version of guide) below.

If you have invested in, or are considering investing in the All-In-1 Investment Bond or Guaranteed Capital Bond, the following guide will be relevant for you.

RNPFN

If you took out a With Profits policy through RNPFN (a policy which was underwritten by RNPFN, before they were acquired by Liverpool Victoria Life Company), you will require the RNPFN version of the guide.

Liverpool Victoria Life Company

If you have a policy that was originally issued through either "The Contingency Insurance Company Limited" or "The Minster Insurance Company Limited", you will require this version of the guide. The two companies were acquired by Permanent Insurance Company Limited in 1982. Permanent Insurance Company Limited was then acquired by LV= in 2001.

If you have one of these policies, your policy number should be in the following format (N representing Number, L representing letter): NNNNNN-NN-NL.
