Why you might want to take out a Flexible Guarantee Bond Series 2

With a choice of three fund options, the Flexible Guarantee Bond Series 2 allows you to decide how much risk you want to take. And, as life is not predictable and your financial priorities can change as time goes by, you can switch from one fund option to another, make regular or occasional withdrawals, and even buy an optional capital guarantee to protect your investment.

Bond features

Our Flexible Guarantee Bond Series 2 lets you:

Invest from £5,000 to £500,000
Invest for at least five years and ideally longer
Have the potential for your investment to grow through the performance of UK and overseas stocks and shares
Buy a guarantee - this covers the value of the bond on the date that the guarantee was purchased, meaning you'll get the original value of the bond plus any growth its achieved (less any withdrawals paid out) at the end of your selected guarantee term.

Important things you should know

This is a stock market related investment, not a savings account
You aren’t certain to make a profit, and the value of your bond can go down as well as up
If your bond is cashed in, in part or in full at any time other than at the end of your selected guarantee term, you may get back less than you invested
If withdrawals paid out are more than the growth on your bond, this will eat into your original investment
