Important information

If you phone, we can offer information on LV= products only.
If you die in the first year of your plan, your family may only get what you've paid in.
If you cancel your plan or stop paying your premiums before your 90th birthday, you won't get back any premiums you've paid and your cover will end.
Premiums paid might be more than the cash sum paid when you die.
Your amount of cover is fixed when your plan starts and doesn't change. It won't keep up with inflation and will buy less in the future.
Payment normally goes to your estate. Inheritance tax could apply to the part that's worth over £325,000 (tax years 2011/2012 to 2014/2015).

50 Plus plan gift wording

You can choose your gift when you apply.
If you choose the DAB radio or the digital photo frame, we’ll send you a voucher to collect it from your nearest Argos store.
You can’t use these vouchers online.
If Argos run out of the gift you’ve chosen, we’ll send you a different one of the same value.
If you choose £30 worth of Marks & Spencer vouchers, we’ll send these to your home address.
We may change or withdraw this offer at any time.
Your M&S vouchers or voucher for your gift will be sent within 28 working days of us receiving your third monthly premium.
This offer is limited to one gift per person.
We may not give a gift where we determine, or reasonably suspect, that the terms of the free gift offer are being abused in any way.
We may also not give a gift to anyone who has previously held a 50 Plus plan or any similar guaranteed life cover plan with LV= and has subsequently cancelled that plan, or had it cancelled by us.
