Golf travel insurance
Whether you're planning a spot of golf on your holiday, or basing the whole break around golf, here's some things to think about for your travel insurance.
Taking your clubs away with you for a spot of holiday golfing might be a tempting prospect, but will you be covered for the sort of things you’d expect from golf holiday insurance?
With LV= travel insurance you and other golfers named on your policy have the option to add golf holiday insurance, which is specifically designed to meet the needs of the holiday golfer.
In addition to the cover already provided by the LV= travel insurance policy, the ‘Golf’ section covers your clubs and other golf equipment up to £1,000 if it’s damaged, stolen, lost or destroyed on your journey.
We’ll also pay up to £300 for green fees that you’ve already paid if you can’t play because your journey is cancelled/cut short, you injure yourself or are ill on your holiday.
If your golfing equipment is delayed on your outward journey we’ll pay up to £40 a day (up to £200 in total) to hire alternative gear. And for a bit more peace of mind, you can also play golf on holiday knowing that golf cover includes public liability for accidents involving golf buggies on a golf course!
Terms and conditions apply to golf cover – you can find full information in Section 19 of the LV= travel insurance policy document.
