- You must be the owner of the pet, over 18 years of age and a resident of the United Kingdom.
- Your pet is not less than eight weeks old.
- Your pet does not fall under the restrictions of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, the Dogs (Northern Ireland) Order 1983, Dogs (Northern Ireland) Act 1991 or any changes to those laws.
- You will need to have all your pet's details to hand, including their medical history.
