Advice for existing customers

How can I make a change to my existing policy?


You might need to make a change to your policy for one of the following reasons:

  • to change your name or address
  • you would like to add or modify items included on your policy
  • your circumstances have changed 

We can make these changes for you by speaking to a member of our service team on 0845 608 1075.

Can I add optional extras after my policy has started?


If you haven't already opted from our range of optional extra cover when you first took your policy out with us, you may still be able to add such extras as accidental damage cover, legal expenses cover or the option to extent your cover to belongings you take away from home.  

If you're interested in adding these optional extras to your policy please speak with a member of our service team on 0845 608 1075.


Is there discount available for contents insurance if I already have buildings insurance with you?


Yes - If you already have cover for your buildings with us we can offer a great discount on upgrading your policy to cover both buildings and content.

What happens if I do need to make a claim with LV=?


We realise that if you need to make a claim you'll want the experience as quick and hassle-free as possible. If an incident does occur and you need to make a claim, you can contact us 24/7 for our support. We have a claims advice page dedicated to what you need to do should this happen.
