As an existing customer, here's what you can expect from your car insurance renewal invitation, and how to renew your policy.

About 25 days before the renewal date of your car insurance policy we'll send you a renewal pack. This pack will contain details of how to renew the policy.
The pack also includes a Renewal Invitation, which summarises:
- the cover and price of your policy
- the car that's insured
- who can drive the car
- details of any optional extras you've chosen
- statement of facts with details of your and your named drivers' driving history
You should check this carefully as it's the basis on which we’re offering to renew your policy.
If any details have changed since you last renewed your policy, it's important that you tell us when you receive your renewal invitation as we'll need to issue another quotation to reflect the changes. The changes that you need to tell us about include things like accidents and convictions you or the other drivers have been involved in, or changes to the car and where it's parked. You’ll find full details when you receive the statement of facts.
You need to call us on 0800 374 028 and tell us about these changes before your car insurance renews otherwise you may not be insured.
You should also take the opportunity to review the optional extras you have on your policy. Please call us if you'd like to add any optional extras that you don't have at the moment. You might also want to review the amount of the excess that applies to your policy, as increasing an excess can reduce your renewal premium.
And finally, please don't leave it to the last minute! When you receive your renewal invitation you'll have about three weeks before the policy needs to be renewed. If you don't renew your insurance or make alternative arrangements, you won't be insured, and it's an offence to use a car without insurance.
If you paid for your policy by credit or debit card, we may automatically renew your policy for you. We do this so that you don't have to worry about forgetting to renew and or run the risk of being uninsured. If you'd prefer us not to renew your policy automatically, please let us know before your insurance renewal date.
