Car Insurance from LV=

• was manufactured for the UK market, for example it's not an import
• is registered and normally kept in Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man or Channel Islands
• won't be used abroad for more than 180 days in a row
• is not used for hire or reward

• are legally entitled to drive
• are residents of mainland UK, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man or Channel Islands

For us to accept proof of your previous no claim discount, it must be:

• issued by your previous UK insurer
• less than 12 months old
• in the name of the policyholder
• written in English
• not currently being used on any other policy (unless we've agreed to match it)

If there is more than one car in your household we'll give you a discount for insuring them all with us. Our multi-car insurance is available for all cars insured by LV= at the same UK address.

When you get a quote for car insurance online or over the phone we'll ask you whether you have another car insured with us. Just tell us if you do we'll give you the multi-car discount.

For £14.90 for the year (equivalent to just £1.25 a month), we'll give you a guaranteed courtesy car while your car is being repaired (by our selected repairer service). Or for up to 14 days if:

• your car is damaged beyond cost effective repair and cannot be driven
• has been stolen and not recovered

We'll also insure the courtesy car for you; you'll only have to pay for the fuel - a courtesy car isn't available to third party only car insurance policyholders.
