LV= expands hitchin office and seeks new staff

Insurance, investments and retirement group LV= today announced it is expanding its current operation in Hitchin. The team in Hitchin are responsible for the retirement solutions product range within LV=’s life insurance business, which offers pensions, annuities and equity release.
LV= currently employs approximately 175 people in its Hitchin office, and has acquired an additional 4,300 sq. ft. of space for recruitment of a further 25 members of staff to help manage both its successful existing business, and new growth.
The majority of the vacancies are for experienced pensions administrators. In addition customer service roles are available for people with financial services or retail industry experience. The operation in Hitchin is predominantly customer services led, and the staff based there deal with customers, financial advisers and other interested parties in the processing of pensions, annuities and equity release business.
LV= plans to continue expanding its operation in Hitchin, and expects further roles to become available through 2011 and 2012.
