We've teamed up with Bluestone Publishing so now you can now purchase your own ‘client-facing’ equity release newsletter - Retirement Freedom - which is pre-written and would be personalised with your details and company branding.
Please ensure that your compliance department have approved this before you issue it. To help you, we've done much of the leg work already and the issue has already been through the compliance-checking process with most Networks and other Compliance firms.
Why have a newsletter?
Newsletters have proved to be a highly effective way of supporting your branding, keeping your name ‘front of mind’, and helping to generate future business.
For example, well over a thousand firms have used one of our other newsletters - The Mortgage - across the last eight years, and consider this recent analysis...
87.5% of firms that have taken five or more issues of the newsletter, since 2003, are still trading - which sits extremely well against the massive industry fall-out of ‘mortgage broking’ firms over just the last couple of years.
OK, it’s not all down to the newsletter - as those businesses are sure to apply the same branding techniques to other elements of their marketing activity - but the on-going usage of the newsletter has proved to be an important and integral part of the mix.
How the process works
Once you’ve ordered, we’ll set up a proof for you with your details and logo (or photo), if wanted. When you’re happy with it, we can then set it up, or pass it onto your network for them to just check your individual details - as it’s likely that they would have already cleared the main body copy.
Most advisers that sign up for our newsletters tend to take both the printed and PDF versions. The printed one always works best, as it’s tangible, stays around longer, looks as if you’ve made more of an effort and gets passed on. So the ‘A’ list clients are often sent this version and the remainder are emailed, with a link back to the website, where the PDF version has been placed.
Targeting
In addition to targeting the 55+ marketplace - it also makes sense to send it to clients that may be the children of the 55+s - as they can often be the driving force in suggesting equity release as an option. Additionally, this may assist with building your client bank too.
And, as with most marketing, you’ll enjoy the best results if you include a covering letter (we can supply copy) and then follow-up the newsletter mailing.
