To help you demonstrate how a with-profits annuity can benefit your clients, we have created the following tools:
Pension Income Plus Annuity (PIPA) Forecaster
Our Forecaster shows the income that would be paid from our Pension Income Plus Annuity, based on varying investment assumptions. It:
- calculates the income payable under a Pension Income Plus Annuity based on various investment conditions
- shows how the total income payable is made up of declared investment returns and guaranteed minimum income
- demonstrates the impact of the two year minimum income guarantee and 0% Assumed Investment Return (AIR) guarantee, where applicable
- compares the income payable from a Pension Income Plus Annuity against both an RPI and level annuity
With Profits Pension Annuity (WPPA) Historic Bonus Calculator
This calculator does not show Declared Investment Returns for our Pension Income Plus Annuity. We will declare the first investment return for this product early in 2012 and will update this calculator accordingly at that point.
Our historic bonus calculator shows the income that would have been paid from our With Profits Pension Annuity series 1-4 in different scenarios. This is based on our actual bonus rates and:
- confirms the annual income that would have been payable from our WPPA using actual bonus rates in various scenarios (different commencement dates, ABRs, and so on)
- shows how the total income payable is made up of a basic income level plus the different types of bonus
- takes into account both the two year minimum income guarantee, and shows the impact this has had on a customer's income, where applicable
- calculates the average annual increase in income the customer would have received over the term of the policy
