Personal support for your client and their family to help cope with a difficult diagnosis

Diagnosis of a serious illness can be a life-changing event filled with uncertainties. But we’re here to offer the support your client needs at this difficult time.

Extra Care is a free service for LV= Flexible Protection Plan policy owners following the payment of a claim in relation to a serious illness.

Of course, the money from your protection policy will help you financially. But Extra Care is designed to help your client cope with any emotional and practical difficulties that they and their family may experience.

Benefits

  • Emotional and practical support from a Personal Nurse Adviser. 
  • A free home visit from a Specialist Nurse or Occupational Therapist, or a course of treatments with a Therapist or specialist counsellor. 
  • Personal support plan as appropriate. 
  • Unlimited telephone support for your client and those close to them.

Confidentiality

All of the information your client discusses with their personal nurse adviser is confidential and won't be accessed by any LV= employees.

Extra Care is delivered under contract on behalf of LV= by RED ARC Assured Limited, an independent Care Advisory Service.
