LV= Breakthrough Player Award - Winner announced

Well done Jonny May! 21 year-old full-back Jonny from Gloucester Rugby is the winner of the first ever LV= Breakthrough Player Award.

Jonny beat five other players in a vote by visitors to the LV.com website. This shortlist of six was whittled down from an initial shortlist of 20 by a panel of rugby experts.

Jonny was the player with the highest number of nominations and will receive a Tag Heuer watch plus £1,000 donated to a local grassroots club of his choice, and of course the inaugural LV= Breakthrough Player trophy.

We'll shortly be announcing the winner of a VIP trip to the LV= Cup Final, selected from the thousands of voters in this competition.
