At LV= we're proud of our Defaqto Star Ratings. So far we've achieved the top level of 5 Stars for our car insurance, home insurance, equity release, critical illness, SIPP and MPPI.
What is Defaqto?
Defaqto is a leading UK independent research company, specialising in rating, comparing and analysing financial products. Defaqto delivers timely and accurate information to all layers of the financial services sector including banks, insurers, advisers, comparison web sites, regulatory agencies and consumers.
Why is a Defaqto Star Rating important?
Choosing on the basis of price alone means you may get a policy that suits your pocket but doesn't necessarily give you the features and benefits, cover and customer assistance you want.
How is a Defaqto Star Rating achieved?
The better the overall quality of a product compared to the rest of the market, the higher the Defaqto Star Rating it is given.
Like a 5 Star hotel, a Defaqto 5 Star Rating is only given to a policy that satisfies the key criteria.
