We were awarded Which? Peoples choice status for highest customer satisfaction scores.

Defaqto, the independent financial research company, recognises the exceptional features and benefits of our products. Our five star rated products are car and home insurance, equity release, SIPP (Self invested personal pension), MPPI (Mortgage payment protection insurance) and Critical Illness level and decreasing term.

We received a 5 Star Rating on our Flexible Transition Account and were voted 3rd out of 93 competitors. This means that our Flexible Transition Account has high quality features and benefits.


Professional Adviser's Hot 100 rankings - March 2009

Liverpool Victoria Asset Management was awarded the Number 1 (Top Dog) spot among groups offering under 15 products.


Consumer Intelligence Gold Award - April 2009

We received the Consumer Intelligence Gold Award for Household Claims service. At LV= we pride ourselves in the high standard of service we provide to our customers during their claims process. 


Global Review ranking - April 2009

We were ranked 1st out of 10 industry brands for our Life Insurance website content on LV.com.


Which? Best Buy for travel insurance - May 2009

LV= was selected by the consumer magazine, Which? as a 'best buy' insurer for providing travel cover for people with medical conditions. Which? compared and reviewed many high street, bank, internet and travel agents' travel insurance policies and selected ours as one of the best deals.


Your Money Awards - May 2009

We received an award for Best Travel Insurance Provider.


Which? Best Buy for home insurance - June 2009

After being selected as a ‘Best Buy’ in travel insurance the previous month, LV= was then also voted a ‘Best Buy’ in Buildings Insurance by Which?.


Moneywise Customer Service Awards - June 2009

LV= won the Most Trusted Home Insurance Provider and Best Service for a Home Insurance Provided and was commended for Best Service for a Motor Insurance Provider.


Which? Survey - August 2009

Which? survey voted Britannia Rescue 2nd for customer satisfaction.


Moneyfacts Awards - October 2009

We won “Best Innovation” for our Mortgage & Lifestyle Protection product. Rigorous product monitoring was carried out throughout the preceding year and the financial adviser community was also consulted for their feedback before the judges awarded this prestigious award to LV=.


Insurance Times Awards - December 2009

Our General Insurance won "Personal Lines Brand of the year".


National Customer Service Award - December 2009

Our General Insurance Sales & Service team won "Customer Service Contact Centre of the Year Award". The award is designed to recognise contact centres that demonstrate high standards of customer care and support - delivering first-class results through loyal and motivated staff.
